Who we are

Seeing Beyond the Scars is a ministry of Christelle Dossou. The website, emails and sales are operated by Impact Plaza Network LLC. Contact: seebeyondscars@gmail.com.

Encouragement, not professional advice

Our devotionals, studies and mentoring offer spiritual encouragement from Scripture and personal experience. They are not counseling, therapy, or medical or legal advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a licensed professional. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.

Our writing

The words, devotionals, studies, artwork and design on this site belong to Christelle Dossou. You're welcome to share a quote or a single verse card with friends, with credit to Seeing Beyond the Scars. Please don't copy, republish or sell our content without written permission. Scripture quotations belong to their translations and are labeled where they appear.

She Is Known: your personal copy

• When you buy She Is Known, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the web app and the PDF for your own study.
• Your access is for you. You can use it on up to three of your own devices. Please don't share your sign-in, forward your links, or share or resell the PDF. Each PDF is marked with the buyer's name.
• If you'd like a friend to have it, you can give it as a gift.
• We may suspend access that is clearly being shared, after first reaching out to you.

Buying

Purchases are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller of record and also handles payment, sales tax and receipts. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown before you pay. See our refund policy.

Emails

We only email you after you ask and confirm. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.

Using the site fairly

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it, or sign up other people without their permission.

Limits

We work hard to keep the site and app available and accurate, but we provide them "as is" and can't promise they'll always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of [state].
